Mostly Pukhtoons are muslims , pukhtoons are living in Afghanistan and Pakistan.In Pakistan they are inhabitant of khyberpukhtunkhawa Province while some of these pathan or pukhtooon tribe were migrated to Punjab Province and called Punjabi Pathans,

Language;
The mother tongue of Pukhtoon people is Pukhtoo or Pushtoo, Pukhtoon people feel proud in speaking their Mother Tongue and they think this language make their unique identity, pukhtoon people can't perform properly the accent of Urdu and English and that's why most of the people make fun of them but according to Pukhtoon people Urdu and English is just way of communication if we able to convey our message to the listener that's enough for us and them, just on the base of language one's can't decide who we are.

Meaning of above quotation is that the rival is consider that the pushtoo language is the language of hell but i will go to the jannah (heaven or paradise) with this ( pushtoo or pukhtoo) language.
Pukhtoon are innoncent;
Actually pukhtoon are very innocent tribe they are harmless until you provoke them or cause dishonor to them from many decades they are running their system which is called pushtunwali on the base of this system all the pukhtoon think they are brothers of each other , they care about one another and they remain to gather in occasion of happiness and sorrows of one another.
Shalwar qamees;
They wear shalwar qamees and this dress is part of their culture and they are strictly following their pukhtoon culture, due to this dress up i-e shalwar qamees most of the countries and their people look them down and think they are useless.
Education;
Pukhtoons love to gt education if they are illiterate they try hard to give the assets of education to their children even grand children for the sake of this they bear hardships, only poverty is the main obstacle in their way of getting education, but still majority of the pukhtoon (pathan )are highly educated, and most of them are allocated on high rank post in different organization.
Hardship;
Pukhtoon are very strong nation that's why they didn't get worried of hardships of the life they didnt feel any hesitation in doing any sort of work, they are hard working people, that's why if you look around yourself many pukhtoons are daily wagers,working in hotel as waiter and probably some are guardians in banks and big bungalows, this quality shows how brave they are, and about this quality of pukhtoon the famous verse line are

I am strong and brave quite enough,And this the only reason the wealthy people needy of mine.

Tradition ;
Traditionally pukhtoons are very rich, means they have so many traditionsJirgha; A few elder within the Pukhtoon tribe are selected as Jirgha mashran who resolve the conflicts among the whole tribe and make decisions.
Milmustiya( Hospitality); Pukhtoons are very famous for their hospitality
Nanwaty ( calling or inviting );
Pukhtoon society people send Nanwaty to their relative home while inviting them for some special occasions or get to gather in their homes.
Badal; taking revenge from the opponent if they cause to harm them.
Love for music;
Pukhtoon people have great love for music they perform their special dance on special occasions and this dance is called Atthan, many pukhtoons have their own hujjra ( a place where only males or men sit) where they do get to gathers and enjoy their traditional music which is called Rabbab and Mangay.
Meal ;
Pukhtoons are very foodies and great lovers of meat and beef, they love to eat fish, kebabs, barbecue and rice pulaw.
Hobbies;
Pukhtoon peoples hobbies are very unique and interesting Kite flying, riding horses and throwing spears.
Fighter;
pukhtons are strong and great fighter most of them joined pakistan army because they are passionate for fighting and love to be called a martyrdom, and every time they are ready to scarify their life for country just to full fill their hidden dreams of becoming martyr,this show their love, faithfulness for the country.
